The hotel offers a mix of residential and business surroundings, close to the Key Bank Arena with a good restaurant selection nearby. The rooms were clean and a good size; however, they weren't ready upon arrival. The service was top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff across various departments. The location was safe and convenient, with a kind security guard adding to the sense of comfort.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, although well done with a new retro style, had issues with cleanliness such as finding the key card from the last guest and a dirty tub. On the positive side, the room was spacious with nice flooring. The service was friendly and helpful, offering complimentary water, but lacking information about the manager's availability. The location was convenient in the downtown area but had some issues with parking and ice around. The dining options were average, but there was a pleasant surprise with some food choices. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not ready initially, and we had to wait for the microwave and mini fridge, but they eventually arrived after a short delay. However, we had to make do with just two towels for the three of us throughout our stay. The room next to ours had a broken door without a lock, and cleanliness was an issue with dirty sheets and a filthy carpet. To make matters worse, there was an incident of missing money in my room, and the management's response was lacking.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Best Western on the Ave in Buffalo, NY. The hotel is located right downtown, making it easy to reach nearby attractions, and the staff was incredibly understanding and helpful. However, the dining options could have been a bit more varied.
